The quality of hydraulic oil is mainly identified by its anti-oxidation, anti-foaming properties, anti-wear properties and smell and color:
1. Antioxidant. If you have enough time, you can pack the sample in a transparent plastic bottle, tighten the bottle cap, and put it in the sun for a period of time. In contrast, the function of darkening is not good, and the service life of the oil is shorter. Two different samples can also be heated at the same time and kept at about 150 ℃ for two hours. If the color changes greatly, the quality is not good.
2. Anti-foaming properties. Seal the two sample bottles with the same amount of oil, shake them vigorously for the same time, and observe the defoaming speed of the samples after they are still, and the faster defoaming is better.
3. Anti-wear properties test. Use a friction tester to withstand samples with many weights, and its anti-wear performance is good.
4. smell, color. Generally good oil products have a high degree of base oil refining, light color, light odor, and light color after adding additives. Good oil generally has a very light smell and must be clear, transparent and light yellow in color. If the oil smells pungent, the color is very dark, the surface of the oil is fluorescent green, or the oil is cloudy, it is not a good product.
