How Does The Emergency Drop Valve Of A Hydraulic Lift Work?

Oct 24, 2022

Now, with the widespread use of fixed scissor hydraulic lifts, the related technologies of various lifts are also constantly updated. Now, most of the lifts rely on power as power to drive their work, but sometimes When the freight elevator cannot be used normally due to the power supply terminal or other conditions, how to safely return the personnel and equipment working at high altitude to the ground, now we will discuss this issue, and the main introduction is as follows:

When the hydraulic system stops due to power interruption or other conditions, the personnel and equipment working at high altitude can safely return to the ground. We have set up an emergency lowering system in the hydraulic system. It is mainly composed of a high-pressure shut-off valve, which is usually in a shut-off state to maintain the normal operation of the system. In the schematic diagram, the lower oil circuit is connected with the reversing valve except the oil return port, and the neutral mechanism of the reversing valve is all type. When a failure occurs, it can be regarded as a failure. In the event of a hydraulic system shutdown failure: first open the No. 1 stop valve by manual operation. At this time, the load generated by the weight of the boom and the worktable is used to drive the rodless cavity of the luffing cylinder to generate oil pressure. Since the shut-off valve has been turned on, the oil pressure directly drives the piston of the telescopic cylinder to force the telescopic cylinder to retract and the boom to retract. During retraction, the opening and closing shut-off valve is used to control the retracting speed of the boom. Then close the stop valve after the boom is fully retracted, and control the luffing cylinder to retract independently by opening and closing the stop valve $, so that the boom swings down until the worktable is completely lowered to a safe position. At this time, all the shut-off valves are closed, and the system returns to its original state. When the system is repaired or the power supply is restored, the hydraulic system is restarted, and the platform can work normally again.

Now, the technology of all aspects of freight elevators is becoming more and more mature, and the related technologies of freight elevators are also constantly improving, and our road ahead is getting wider and wider. I believe that the elevator industry is about to face a take-off era.
