A senior living institution in Southeast Asia has completed its age-friendly renovation project, introducing a CATHAY HL series aluminum alloy vertical seating lift from Shandong. After a period of trial operation, the equipment has received unanimous praise from the institution and its residents for its effectiveness.
Due to building constraints, the site could not install a conventional elevator. This lift requires no pit excavation; the model can be installed directly on the ground, and the high-level model only requires simple wall mounting. The entire unit features corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminum profile guide rails with a rated load of 250 kg. It is equipped with safety features such as bottom anti-collision sensors, emergency manual descent, overload protection, and a balance safety chain, meeting European and American industry safety standards. The entrance and exit angles can be customized, and it offers multiple control methods including remote control, column buttons, and a platform panel.
Institution management stated that the lift effectively solves the problem of mobility impairments for residents going up and down stairs, offering convenient and safe use. The product comes with a two-year warranty, and the manufacturer provides some easily damaged spare parts free of charge, effectively reducing the pressure of later maintenance. The institution intends to continue to use the same equipment in the branch renovation project.
