How to make the electric scissor lift more energy-saving?

Electric scissor lifts or elevators are a vital part of our lives, particularly in high-rise buildings, malls, hospitals, and other public and private spaces. However, they consume a considerable amount of electricity during operation, which can increase the energy bills and negatively impact the environment. Therefore, it is essential to follow power-saving tips to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability.

One of the most effective ways to save electricity on an electric scissor lift is by doing a good job in the test machine. The test machine not only tests the safety performance of the electric scissor lift but also warms up the lift in advance. This helps the fluidity of the cylinder, motor, and hydraulic oil (especially in winter) enter the working state in advance, reducing resistance during operation and saving electric energy. By ensuring that the lift is adequately warmed up, users can significantly reduce electricity consumption and promote energy efficiency.

Another useful power-saving tip for electric scissor lifts is to release the up button when the lift reaches the target height. This is a skill that people with relevant work experience know. Due to inertia, the electric scissor lift will still rise for a certain distance, even after the up button is released. Therefore, by properly controlling the lift and releasing the button at the right time, users can accumulate proper control over time, resulting in significant power savings.

It is also essential to avoid standby mode and cut off the power after using the mobile lift. Many users press the standby button to save time, but this wastes power and poses safety risks. The electrical system is still operating in the standby state, making it prone to circuit failure, and it is easy to be struck by lightning in thunderstorm weather. Therefore, by cutting off the power after using the lift, users can prevent power wastage and ensure safety.

Frequent buttering is another effective power-saving tip for electric scissor lifts. Friction between the pin shafts can increase with use, often accompanied by noisy sounds. By frequently buttering the pin shafts, users can reduce friction, thereby reducing the generation of useless work and saving electric energy. This is a detail problem that many customers can easily find in daily use, and addressing it can significantly reduce electricity consumption.

Lastly, overloading the lift is strictly prohibited. Operating the lift within the rated load can ensure its normal operation. However, many customers blindly pursue efficiency and overload the lift during the lifting process, which can be counterproductive and consume more energy than necessary. By avoiding overloading the lift, users can promote energy efficiency and reduce electricity consumption.
